Kereru Creek Aurora
Aurora (paddock name Rory) arrived earlier this year as a lease mare, accompanied by her paddock mate Rosa, whom I had bought. Their owner was keen to see them stay together, how could I resist? After a couple of months and several treks out on Rory I knew she was a good fit for my stud. Like Rosa, Rory again diversifies my breeding and allows me to continue with a focus on expanding the Fjord horse gene pool here in New Zealand.
Rory has spent time with the amazing Kate Tobin having some flat work buttons installed. She is working nicely in a frame, moving forward well and cantering circles.
